Two Weeks

I can't believe we return to school in just two short weeks! My summer has been so busy but I have enjoyed every minute. I spent the month of June in school (WKU) in a Writing Class- can you believe it?? I was so nervous but I made new friends and actually wrote several pieces that I plan to share with you this year. My new classmates gave me great ideas to make our classes more interesting and challenging too.
I just returned from our vacation to Washington DC. WOW!! That place was awesome. Jackson and I spent a week exploring all the sites and museums. My feet are tired but the memories will last a lifetime.
And now I sit at my computer in my classroom preparing for your return. I'm eager to see all 7th and 8th graders and to meet our new 6th graders too! We also have new teachers on our wing this year and I'm looking forward to meeting them.
Well, this room won't be ready for you if I keep writing. Enjoy these last few days and I'll see you soon!!
