Fantastic Week!

I can't believe our first full week is over. The kids are really working hard and beginning to write in their journals or begin writing pieces. Sixth graders will be creating their "cereal" box journals next week (so don't forget your cereal boxes) as well as their "how to" pieces, while seventh graders individualized their journals this week (check out the journal collection picture), and eighth graders wrote their first article comparing open response question writing and on demand writing. Whew!
Thanks for a great week and I'm looking forward to next week.

6B- Current Thoughts

My other class helped post earlier but this class is just as awesome as the other one! I have wonderful classes this year. While this is their first year of Middle School, this group feels very comfortable with their environment. This class needs to remember to also bring in Cereal boxes as soon as possible so we can begin to create your writing notebooks.

6th Grade Thoughts

Today the 6th Graders visited my blog site. They are an awesome group of kids! We are currently creating collages in Flex classes and will be working on our Writing Notebooks in the upcoming days.
Reminders: Bring Cereal Boxes when you can- these will become our Writing Notebooks
Have your Agenda Books signed by Friday morning when you come to school.
Keep up with your "tickets" they are to be with you at all times and remember to have them signed over the weekend and return to me on Monday.
